An independent study course is a special course tailored to permit an individual student to pursue specific in-depth studies under the supervision and instruction of an Instructor. Independent study courses offer the chance to study subjects that would not otherwise be available to the student and to pursue unique topics independently and in depth. This course is intended to be a general survey of a specific area of business. This course is intended to be a general survey of a specific area of business.<br/><strong>Note: </strong>Departmental approval is required to register in this course. This course requires the ability and the discipline to work independently, and the subject of study must be one in which the student has a genuine interest.<br/><strong>Reg Notes: </strong> Departmental approval is required to register.
