Students will learn principles and methods of chemistry including organic nomenclature, thermochemistry, chemical reaction rates, oxidation-reduction, and some applications of electrochemistry. Section information text: <strong>Course Description: </strong>Students will learn principles and methods of chemistry including organic nomenclature, thermochemistry, chemical reaction rates, oxidation-reduction, and some applications of electrochemistry. Includes laboratory investigations. <br/><strong>Reg Notes: </strong> Mixed-Mode/Hybrid: One face-to-face class per week with the remainder of instruction online asynchronous (this section does not require students to join the online class on any specific day/time). The instructor is available in the time blocks shown; other online times are possible; contact the instructor for details. Self-paced: students may either progress more quickly (finishing multiple levels in a subject during the semester) or more slowly (students may take up to 2 semesters to finish a level in a subject). All labs may be completed in the scheduled face-to-face classes.<br/><strong>
