CHEM 110

This is a course for students who plan to pursue a science degree. Students will review and expand their understanding of atomic structure, periodic trends, chemical bonding and molecular structure. This course also provides an introduction to organic chemistry, including organic reactions. Students will review and expand their understanding of atomic structure, periodic trends, chemical bonding and molecular structure. This course also provides an introduction to organic chemistry, including organic reactions.<br/><strong>Note: </strong>CHEM 110 is an approved Numeracy course for Cap Core requirements. CHEM 110 is an approved Science and Technology course for Cap Core requirements. CHEM 110 is an approved Quantitative/Analytical course for baccalaureate degrees. CHEM 110 is an approved Science course. CHEM 110 is an approved Lab Science course. Students having prerequisites that are more than three years old should consider taking CHEM 101.<br/><strong>Reg Notes: </strong> In person. Students must register for both a lecture section and a lab section. If class is full or restricted please choose another section and/or email chemwait@capilanou.ca and indicate course number and section number in the subject line. Students are advised to check the web frequently and register if a seat becomes available. If not registered prior to classes starting, attend the first class.<br/><strong>
