This course focuses on the structure, bonding and chemical reactivity of common organic functional groups with an emphasis on the reactions and chemical properties of biologically important molecules. Section information text: <strong>Course Description: </strong>This course focuses on the structure, bonding and chemical reactivity of common organic functional groups with an emphasis on the reactions and chemical properties of biologically important molecules.<br/><strong>Note: </strong>CHEM 211 is an approved Numeracy course for Cap Core requirements. CHEM 211 is an approved Science and Technology course for Cap Core. CHEM 211 is an approved Quantitative/Analytical course for baccalaureate degrees. CHEM 211 is an approved Science course. CHEM 211 is an approved Laboratory Science course.<br/><strong>Reg Notes: </strong> In person. Students must register for both a lecture section and a lab section.
