This course serves as an introduction to physics for students with little or no background in the subject. Topics include mechanics, electricity and geometrical optics. Topics include mechanics, electricity and geometrical optics. <br/><strong>Note: </strong>PHYS 104 is an approved Numeracy course for Cap Core requirements. PHYS 104 is an approved Quantitative/Analytical course for baccalaureate degrees. PHYS 104 is an approved Science course. PHYS 104 is an approved Lab Science course.<br/><strong>Reg Notes: </strong> In person. Students must register for both a lecture section and a lab section. If class is full or restricted please choose another section and/or email physwait@capilanou.ca and indicate course number and section number in the subject line. Students are advised to check the web frequently and register if a seat becomes available. If not registered prior to classes starting, attend the first class.
