SPAN 100

This is a beginners' course which offers a comprehensive introduction to the Spanish language and culture. Emphasis is placed on grammar and the development of the students' speaking, understanding, reading and writing skills. Emphasis is placed on grammar and the development of the students' speaking, understanding, reading and writing skills.<br/><strong>Note: </strong>SPAN 100 is an approved Culture and Creative Expression course for Cap Core requirements. This is not a course for students with training or background in Spanish.<br/><strong>Reg Notes: </strong> Students must register for a lecture and a conversation at the same time. This is a course for complete beginners; students with previous study (Spanish 11 or 12) or background should contact the instructor. Overqualified students will be required to withdraw and re-directed to a higher-level course.
