BIOL 4505

Exclusion(s): Unavailable to students with credit for BIOL441. Exploration of key issues and strategies behind ecological monitoring programs including background research, implementation and long-term conduct. Examination of international programs implemented locally (e.g. EMAN and Man in the Biosphere). Discussion of classification systems for natural areas in Nova Scotia and exploration of examples. Course includes lab component.
