Exclusion(s): Unavailable to students with credit for EDUC4053. In this follow up course, students will deepen their understandings of the topics explored in the preceding course. This course however will focus on writing and other ways of representing. Characteristics of effective writers and representors will be explored in depth as will organizing the classroom environment, effective pedagogies and best practices in terms of responding to student writing and representing. Students will design and create a portfolio to demonstrate their deepening understandings of program design, assessment and evaluation of writing and other ways of representing. Students will continue their study of curriculum documents as they plan and deliver literacy lessons.
