Exclusion(s): Unavailable to students with credit for EDUC4054. This course focuses on teaching mathematics at the secondary level. In this course students will focus on effective teaching strategies, lesson planning, assessment and evaluation. Course topics include course design and implementation of the mathematics curriculum, diversity and inclusion,the development of critical literacy and numeracy, interpersonal and problem solving skills,communication technology for learning and teaching; and the process of learning how to create a secondary learning environment to teach the mathematics curriculum for grades 7 to 12.
