During Elementary Practicum III, preservice teachers participate in a 6-week field experience in lower or upper elementary. During this experience, preservice teachers observe elementary classrooms, establish cooperative learning and team building relationships with supervising associate teachers, and continue in the process of collaborating with associate teachers, administrators and university advisors to develop the competencies of a beginning teacher.
