Exclusion(s): Unavailable to students with credit for MATH135. Credit cannot be obtained simultaneously for MATH1009, MATH1109, MATH2106, PSYC2101, MGSC1108. This course is restricted to BScN students. This is an introductory statistics course designed for students in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program (BScN). An introduction to basic statistics for nursing students emphasizing statistical literacy in the context of health sciences. Study design, descriptive statistics, elementary probability, confidence intervals, hypothesis testing. Foundational mathematical skills required for the health sciences will be covered.
