The course teaches how data is translated into meaningful, usable business information for organizations. It explores the science of the underlying algorithms, principles as well as best practices that govern the art of predictive analytics. The core paradigms, i.e., classification and prediction that account for most business applications of predictive modeling are covered. The course offers advanced analytical methods, skills, tips and tricks that are essential for making sense of created and stored data in organizations. Hands-on examples and case studies are used in the course.
