Prequisite: NRSG-3601 Half of the care delivered by nurses in the community in North America is wound care. Wound care is not only prevalent in the community, it crosses all types of care disciplines and settings. Wound care is prevalent , complex and involves an integrated team approach for better outcomes. This online course will provide a comprehensive approach to best practice wound care interventions and will also focus on how we can enact change within the wound care environment to improve patient outcomes. Emphasis includes working with patients across the lifespan and the inter-professional relationships within the speciality practice.
