PUBH 1101

Exclusion(s): Unavailable to students with credit for PUBH101 or BIOL1101 or BIOL101. The anatomy and physiology of the cell, with a special focus on the processes (transport membranes, internal respiration, mitosis, protein synthesis) which are most vulnerable to the pathological effects of toxic agents. Major environmental effects are also examined including mutations, reproductive effects, birth defects and cancer.
