Field Practicum I

Lec 0 selected

Field Practicum I provides an opportunity to support students' preparation for entry-level professional social work positions and be exposed to the core elements of the social work profession. The 250-hour practicum within a community organization/agency allows students to apply theories and concepts learned in the classroom and gives them the opportunity to discover various career options available within the field of social work. A field practicum agreement will also be developed by the student that addresses several of the core learning objectives within the BSW program. An embedded online Field Seminar course will take place concurrently within Field Practicum I.
