DMUT 1010

This course provides the student with the basic knowledge of the physical principles of ultrasound. It examines how diagnostic ultrasound works (how it is generated and how it interacts with tissues). Also covered in this course is the instrumentation used to transmit, receive and present echo information and the application of these to the practice of Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound Technology.
