This course introduces students to the value of communication in health, health systems, and health professions. Effective communication is critical in health. The course provides strategies and skills for students to be effective communicators. Through written, oral, and media communication assignments, the course provides students with the fundamentals needed to be successful in exchanging and transmitting health information and strategies. This course is designed to develop professional and interpersonal communication skills necessary for diverse audiences.
