HLTH 6205

The primary objective of this module is to develop the skills necessary to incorporate research into clinical practice; that is to critically analyze research and to appropriately apply research findings and to be a competent consumer of research. Previous modules have laid the foundation for this module which will focus on Evidence-Based/Informed Practice (EB/IP). By the end of the module, students will have developed the skills to formulate answerable clinical questions, search for relevant sources of information, and critically appraise the research found. Students will understand the role of research evidence in clinical practice and be able to apply the 3 components of EB/IP when making clinical decisions.
