The functional and aesthetic aspects of plants are explored in both historical and contemporary themes such as environmental improvement, ornamental, medicinal, agricultural, cultural, and other uses. Planting design issues such as urban forestry, turf grass, green roof & wall systems, and green infrastructure are introduced.
