MGMT 2304

This course takes a macro perspective of organizational behavior (micro perspectives are covered in MGMT 2303) and focuses on how levels of commitment and performance are impacted by the relational aspects of organizations. It does so by examining how factors such as communication, team dynamics, and leadership contribute to and our influenced by organizational culture and structure. In addition, the course introduces the role of power within an organizational setting and the challenges of change. To achieve a balance between theoretical and practical learning, the teaching methods will combine mini-lectures with in-class activities, simulations, cases, and discussions.
