Medical Foundations III

Lec 01 selected

The Medical Foundations III course helps prepare students for successful completion of the Year 1 medical curriculum through the presentation and discussion of biomedical sciences. The MFIII course continues to weave through several longitudinal themes from previous MFI and MFII courses (i.e., biochemistry and molecular biology, anatomy, pharmacology, and clinical reasoning) as students start the transition to clinical rotations in Year 2 of the program. Foundational concepts are introduced through units in dermatology, metabolism (II), and concept integration in geriatrics, oncology, and palliative care.
