MPAS 6502

Internal Medicine

Lec 01 selected

For the core component of clerkship, students will complete a six week Internal Medicine rotation. Students improve their history-taking and physical examination skills under the supervision of more senior members of the clinical care team. They also learn to investigate and manage common medical problems. This involves a mature commitment to continuous patient care including on-call responsibilities, staying within the health care facility for overnight call duties.
