Examines the methods used to generate, apply and evaluate knowledge in nursing and health care focusing on the basic processes of quantitative, qualitative and epidemiological research. The emphasis is on analysis, synthesis and evaluation of research and the implications for theory and evidence-informed nursing practice. Collaboration with inter-professional research teams is described.
