Principles of Primary Health Care are applied to health promotion, risk reduction, disease prevention, and common health problems experienced by infants, children, young adults, and their families in rural and remote settings. Concepts of healthy development, illness, and disability, related to the health of the child, adolescent, young adult and family unit are explored.
