NURS 8321

Students focus on integration of community, public health theory and nursing practice as it applies to primary health care within a population health context. The philosophical basis, roles, settings and functions of community health nursing will be examined and used to explore evidence-informed nursing care delivery to persons, families and populations in community settings.
