PERF 2023

This course will encourage students to develop skills, understandings and techniques in the basic aspects of jazz/ballet/and creative movement techniques. Development of confidence and expression is emphasized through understanding of the physical and expressive body, proper placement, dance history, class etiquette and dance vocabulary. This class is open to students with at least 3 years of recent dance training in such disciplines as ballet, modern or jazz techniques.
