This course serves as the introduction to the Critical Appraisal Series (CAS) courses, exploring the foundational concepts of evidence-based practice, critical appraisal, and critical thinking as core principles in pharmacy education and practice. Students learn to evaluate and strategically utilize credible primary, secondary, and tertiary drug and health information resources—including key texts, bibliographic databases, journals, and other tools—as an integral component of patient care.
