PUAD 6515

This course will introduce students to key policies that have shaped Canada since WWII. Students will consider selected debates, controversies, trade-offs, and the changing nature of the debates, and how they relate to current policy challenges. Students will be introduced to scenario planning tools to help examine different plausible directions of these policy domains in light of current challenges. Students will have the opportunity to describe, examine, and evaluate a specific policy challenge in more depth and engage in thoughtful discussion on the subjects by proposing solutions in a persuasive and informed manner. Students will use AI tools to assist in scenario development.
