This course will lay the foundation of L’nu/Indigenous MSW program introducing circle pedagogy, and helping Indigenous students, both urban and rural, to respectfully request, and engage medicines in a way that is good for Msit No'kmaq (“all our relations”). Students will learn how to take up their unique place in circle. Students will make and birth a drum and begin to learn and lift up various songs that will be part of their journey throughout the program. Students will begin to embody their wholistic healing practices.
