STAT 1501

This course introduces students to the basic concepts of statistics through use of integrated examples, application to real-world scenarios, and connections to student’s proposed research projects. The topics include experimental design, descriptive statistics, simple linear regression and the basics of statistical inference. Students will learn to use and work with R.
