MODL 1101

This course is designed for students who have little or no knowledge of French. In this course, students develop their language skills for purposes of: 1) participating in day to day personal, social and professional situations, 2) improving their employment opportunities, 3) participating in intercultural and/or international community activities, 4) preparing for further education or training. Students will acquire basic listening, speaking, reading and writing skills through the study of vocabulary, grammar and culture. French is spoken in class as much as possible.
