The main theories and practices in leadership within small organizations will be discussed. Individual and group assignments explore the current literature, skills, knowledge and attitudes for leading small organizations. The course focuses on leadership in the non-profit and micro to small business sectors, focusing mainly on rural, environmental and social innovation contexts.
