The purpose of this course is to explore historical and contemporary effects of colonialism and the concepts related to processes of decolonization in various cultural contexts. The course will focus on selected texts by decolonial theorists, specific decolonization initiatives and decolonial approaches to research and analyses of texts including literature, art and film.
