This course acts as a foundational introduction to Work-Integrated Learning (WIL) and experiential learning. Within the course, students are orientated on the range of relevant agencies/organizations across the public, private, and not-for-profit sectors that can offer Work-Integrated Learning opportunities. Students identify potential WIL options related to their professional and academic aspirations and consider how to prepare for the WIL placement. Service learning and volunteer opportunities beyond formal WIL are identified and discussed for students seeking impacts in the community. [Department(s): Justice Studies]
