This practicum course will delve into the many dimensions of diversity and how health, fitness and sport professionals prepare and program for individuals that they encounter. Students will explore mental and physical ability, gender expression and identity, personality, age, ethnicity, culture, educational background, communication style and geographic location to prepare themselves as professional practitioners and leaders. This course will explore how various factors can influence health and performance, and how to measure this impact.
