In preparation for the capstone design or thesis project, students will be introduced to a broad array of research methods are introduced as they apply to landscape planning and design, with a focus on the connections between research and design. The course includes qualitative and quantitative analysis and interpretation. Students will review, critique, summarize, and explain academic research that is relevant for landscape architecture.
