Mktg/Consumer Studies Seminar
The seminars are designed to expose graduate students to the breadth of high-quality research and to learn the necessary skills to successfully complete their thesis and major research project. A speaker (internal or external) from industry or academic institution is invited to present a workshop to graduate students from a business practice perspective or from an academic research perspective. Graduate students will also have the opportunity to meet with seminar speakers for professional networking. Through participating in the weekly seminar, graduate students will acquire fundamental skills on developing research ideas, learn to improve their reading/writing/presenting abilities, and interact with seminar speakers for advice and inspiration that will help them develop their own research projects and professional plans.
