This course addresses general aspects of industrial hygiene. Specific topics include Canadian legislation with respect to Occupational Safety, Standard Setting bodies, modes of evaluation of chemical exposure, occupational toxicology, safety considerations for engineers, nanoparticle toxicology and instrumentation associated with the evaluation of the occupational environment.
