ASIA 3320

Students will deepen their understanding of contemporary Japanese art and culture by viewing significant post-war Japanese movies, including animation. They will focus on influential directors and characteristic genres, and discuss important themes and cultural references, and connections to Japanese culture as a whole. This course is cross-listed with LANC 3320. Students may earn credit for only one of these courses.
