We have more data at our fingertips than ever before. Analyzing this data can yield valuable insights, but to make an impact we need more than statistics. In this course, students will learn a general-purpose analytics lifecycle methodology and apply previously learned statistical methods and techniques to conduct a group project on a suitable business or social science analytic topic. Students will apply the methodology to frame a decision problem, devise a feasible analytical strategy, gather and prepare data, generate insights, and communicate the findings effectively.
