Students will practice and develop their skills in the writing and revising of short fiction through the creation of their own original work, and through the critique of their peers' stories, in a combined lecture and workshop/roundtable setting. They will also take part in class discussions, analyzing published short fiction and performing close readings from a writer's point of view.
