EACS 0022

Students will learn about the history of the disability rights movement and social prejudice against people with disabilities. They will critically assess ablest values and practices including harmful stereotypes, misconceptions, and assumptions. Students will examine disability social justice strategies and resources related to advocacy, self-determination, and leadership. Note: The Employment and Community Studies program is designed to provide students with diverse learning needs that hinder educational success an opportunity to prepare for lifelong learning, employment, and community engagement.
