Students will study and practise the process of composition (including brainstorming ideas, thesis creation, composing an outline, writing a draft, revising a draft, editing and proofreading). They will acquire, review and practise grammar skills. Students will practise writing in response to reading critically. They will apply the writing process to the composition of paragraphs and short essays. Note: This course does not offer instruction at the Fundamental or Intermediate level of English skills or English as a Second Language.
