FASN 2116

Students will examine the historic transformation of clothing through cause and effect analysis of decorative and fine art, and apparel artefacts. They will connect the interrelatedness of social, economic, political, cultural and technological events and effects to the effects on dress. Students will establish context for fashion as part of diverse cultures and societies, interpret historical design references, and analyze the historical development of the apparel industry.
