Students will build on concepts and materials introduced in Sculpture I and will investigate and debate a blend of traditional and non-traditional strategies for making sculpture. They will be introduced to new processes and materials to reflect the complex nature of contemporary sculptural practice and will participate in lectures, demonstrations, and individual and group critiques. Students will also use local resources such as libraries, galleries, and museums.
