HORT 1193

Students will explore selected principles and practices of horticulture production. They will perform basic seasonal horticultural crop operations in the greenhouse and nursery facilities. Students will maintain and harvest seasonal flower and vegetable crops. They will also identify plant species important in commercial production. Students will attend field trips to horticulture industry operations as an essential part of this course. Note: This is a Pathway Level 3 course option.
