This clinical practice consolidation course provides the student with the opportunity to reflect on previous learning and develop a focused learning plan integrating competencies of the mental health nurse in preparation for their final preceptorship. Students will practice in a variety of mental health settings focusing on advanced communication, assessment, and treatment of individuals and their families living with acute and chronic mental health challenges.
