This is a series of workshops that will allow first-year students to learn skills and behaviours needed for success in a university business school, while also building a personal brand and preparing for their future careers. Students will be taught foundations in research skills, the use of specific computer software, interpersonal, communication, creative-thinking, and improvisational skills. Assignments will also include the development of a personal brand and the beginning of a professional portfolio. Students are graded on a pass/fail basis, based on attendance. (exp) cr 0.
