Astrobiology

Lec 001 selected

(3 credits) 3 hours lecture This course will give an overview of the major topics in astrobiology. Topics include life on Earth, the conditions and possibility for life elsewhere in the solar system, the detection and properties of exoplanets, and SETI (Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence). This course stresses scientific explanation and uses mathematics, the language of science.
