BCEM 2201

(3 credits) 3 hours lecture, 3 hours lab This course deals with the biochemistry of the major groups of biological molecules. Topics include carbohydrates, polypeptides, lipids, nucleic acids, and their precursors. Laboratory exercises will involve the isolation and characterization of selected biological molecules. Section information text: Labs will begin the second week of the semester unless otherwise specified.
